Receipts, references and records

There is no login here, so the paper trail lives in your inbox and in our ledger. This page explains what you get, and how to get it again if it goes missing.

What you receive

Three documents per request, all by email

Nothing is posted, and nothing sits behind an account you have to remember a password for.

Document 1

The quote

Amount, service fee, total and the last four digits of the tag ID you gave us. It carries the reference that every later message reuses.

Document 2

The payment receipt

Issued by our payment provider when the card payment clears. It shows the merchant name, the total and the date — this is the one accountants ask for.

Document 3

The load confirmation

Sent once the credit is on the card, with the reference and the amount loaded.

Getting a copy

Asking for a duplicate, and what we keep

We can resend anything we still hold. We cannot invent a record for a request that was never paid.

How to ask
Email billing@dxbcardpoint.org from the same address you used for the request, and quote the reference or the date and amount.
Turnaround
One working day for a duplicate that is still in the ledger.
Retention
Request and receipt records are kept for five years, then deleted. Payment card numbers never reach us at all — the provider holds those.
Expense claims
Ask for the receipt to carry your own reference and we add the text you supply, provided it does not change the amount.
Someone else's request
We only send a copy to the email address on the original request. No exceptions, even with the reference.
Keep this

Why the reference matters

It is the only key that links your email thread, the provider's transaction and the load on the card. With it, a query takes minutes. Without it, we are searching by date and amount, and that takes a day.
